Al sur solo hay mar y, al fondo, las montañas de Marruecos. La finca ocupa 11,7 hectáreas de costa abierta en Guadalmesí, a 8 km de Tarifa por carretera asfaltada, con más de 400 metros de frente al Estrecho y dos calas a sus pies.

En lo alto se conservan tres construcciones militares de piedra de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, unos 75 m² en total, de los años en que esta costa se fortificó frente a un posible desembarco. A escasa distancia se alza la Torre de Guadalmesí, del siglo XVI.

La finca está dentro del Parque Natural del Estrecho. Eso significa dos cosas. La primera, que no es suelo edificable: aquí no se puede levantar vivienda ni hotel. La segunda, que tampoco podrá hacerlo nadie alrededor. El paisaje que se compra hoy es el que seguirá habiendo dentro de treinta años.

Usos permitidos: agrícola, ganadería extensiva, apicultura y forestal. El propio plan de gestión del parque contempla la rehabilitación de las torres y estructuras defensivas de esta costa con fines culturales o de uso público.

Cada otoño pasan miles de rapaces por encima de la finca: es el mayor corredor migratorio de Europa occidental.

To the south there is nothing but sea and, on the horizon, the mountains of Morocco. The estate covers 11.7 hectares of open coastline at Guadalmesí, 8 km from Tarifa by paved road, with more than 400 metres of frontage onto the Strait and two coves below it.

On the high ground stand three stone military structures from the Second World War, some 75 m² in all, from the years when this coast was fortified against a possible landing. The 16th-century Torre de Guadalmesí is a short walk away.

The estate lies inside the Parque Natural del Estrecho. That means two things. First, it is not building land: no house and no hotel may be built here. Second, nobody can build around it either. The landscape you buy today is the landscape that will still be there in thirty years.

Permitted uses: agriculture, extensive grazing, beekeeping and forestry. The park's own management plan provides for the restoration of the watchtowers and defensive structures along this coast for cultural or public use.

Every autumn thousands of raptors pass overhead. This is the largest migration corridor in Western Europe.
